Why

Studio portfolio websites usually treat identity and interface as separate layers. A logo sits in a corner, and a menu sits somewhere else, so the brand never actually does any work.

How

The stacked moniker logo generates the navigation. The name frames every page, and moving through the work happens inside the identity rather than beside it.

Impact

Studio identity and website for nabiboyd.

NABIBOYD is a Los Angeles based architecture and design studio working across buildings, interiors, environments.

The name splits into two stacked columns, N-A-B-I and B-O-Y-D, that hold the left and right edges of every view. The logo is never decoration sitting on top of the page. It is the frame the page lives inside.

Each letter of the moniker is a destination. Moving across the name reveals the section it leads to, so the menu has no separate existence: reading the studio’s name and navigating the site are the same gesture.

Project pages carry the architectural record: location, year, type, size, site area, and client, set alongside the narrative. The structured data sits in the same reversed-block vocabulary as the navigation, so specification and identity share one typographic system.

The result is a site where there is no separate brand layer. The interface is the identity.
